Three prime ministers stayed away from St. Kitts Summit
Basseterre, St. Kitts, May 17, 2018 – Three Heads of Government from Citizenship by Investment jurisdictions stayed away from the Caribbean Investment Summit in St. Kitts on Thursday.
Dominica’s Prime Minister Hon. Roosevelt Skerrit, St. Lucia’s Prime Minister Hon. Allen Chastanet and Prime Minister of Grenada, Dr. the Hon. Keith Mitchell were not present at the opening ceremony.

The only visiting Prime Minister was Hon. Gaston Browne of Antigua and Barbuda whose sole duty was to hand over the baton to host Prime Minister Dr. Timothy Harris.
Several government releases from the Office of Prime Minister Harris and the St. Kitts and Nevis Information service (SKNIS) over the past few days including Thursday said: “The Summit, which runs from May 16-19, brings together Heads of Government from Citizenship by Investment (CBI) jurisdictions in the region including Antigua and Barbuda, Commonwealth of Dominica, Saint Lucia, Grenada and host country St. Kitts and Nevis.”
