ICH SECRETARIAT TO HOST SECOND C.O.R.E. KNOWLEDGE TRANSFER CAMP

The ICH Secretariat is hosting its 2nd annual C.O.R.E (Cultural Oriented Revival Explosion) Knowledge Transfer Camp. This activity starts on the 4th – 15th December, 2023 and begins at 8.30 am and ends at 2.30 pm from Monday to Friday for children ages 8- 16 years from across St. Kitts and Nevis. The camp will be held at the St. Johnson Community Centre, Basseterre. The goal of the camp is to transfer ICH knowledge and skills from existing Knowledge Bearers to the next generation of Knowledge Bearers and Practitioners annually.

UPDATE re: Lindsay Grant’s sentence

Good day, all.

On November 21st, 2023, Lindsay Grant, who was found guilty on two (2) charges namely Battery of a Police Officer and Assaulting a Police Officer, was convicted and ordered to pay a fine of fifteen hundred dollars ($1,500.00) ECD on each charge. The fines are to be paid forthwith. In default, Mr. Grant will serve one (1) month imprisonment on each charge at His Majesty’s Prison.

POLICE RECOVER WEAPON & SUSPECTED DRUG CONTRABAND ON ST. KITTS


The Anti-Narcotics Unit (ANU) of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF) have recovered suspected drug contraband and another illegal weapon. The firearm and contraband recoveries took place between 12AM and 4AM on November 16th, 2023.
